ANTHRAX Guitarist's Fiancée Is 'Thrilled' To Be Part Of NIKKI SIXX's SIXX; A.M. Project

Pearl Aday, ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian's fiancée and daughter of legendary crooner Meat Loaf, has issued the following update:

"So I spent the week in rehearsals with Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, and James Michael rehearsing for the press conference announcing the release of Nikki's new book 'The Heroin Diaries', and the soundtrack to the book called SIXX: A.M.

"We performed five songs yesterday morning [July 16] in downtown L.A. at Crash Mansion for press/media and premiered the new video for SIXX: A.M.'s first single 'Life Is Beautiful'.

"I had a blast. Five songs goes by too fast.

The set list went as follows:

01. X-Mas in Hell (narrative intro)
02. Van Nuys
03. Pray For Me
04. Heart Failure
05. Accidents Can Happen
06. Life Is Beautiful
07. Life After Death (narrative outro)

"I am thrilled that Nikki asked me to be a part of this project. The album rocks, it paints a picture, it hits home, it's honest, and intense. The first time I heard the song 'Accidents Can Happen', about relapse, I cried. It's a beautiful song to begin with, but it also truly hits home for me being that addiction runs in my family, and that I've had much first hand experience dealing with exactly what the lyrics are conveying.

"It was killer to be up on stage again with Nikki, and to share it also with James and DJ, and Glen. I love you guys, and thank you. Stay tuned, because you may get a chance to see us coming up on a few of the late night talk shows. Plans [to be determined]."
